Addresses, phone numbers, and jurisdictions for the Embassy in Washington DC and the Consulates General in New York and Los Angeles.
Kenya maintains one embassy and two consulates general in the United States. Which one handles your request depends on where you live — check jurisdiction below before making an appointment, since showing up at the wrong mission is a common source of wasted trips.
Embassy of Kenya — Washington, DC
Handles the mid-Atlantic, South, and Midwest, and is the mission of record for national-level matters (e.g. diplomatic correspondence).

Consulate General — Los Angeles, CA
Serves the western US. Relocated to this address in June 2019 — some third-party directories still list the old pre-2019 address, so use the details below rather than an older listing you may find elsewhere.
- Address: 3550 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 1900, Los Angeles, CA 90010
- Phone: (213) 529-4037
- Email: cg@kenyaconsulatela.com
No walk-in office in other cities
Kenya does not maintain a standing consulate in Dallas or other cities beyond the three above. The Washington embassy periodically runs Mobile Consular Service clinics in cities including Dallas-Fort Worth — these are temporary, appointment-only visits, not a permanent office. Check kenyaembassydc.org for the current mobile consular schedule before assuming a fixed local office exists.
Before you go
Call or email ahead — hours, appointment requirements, and accepted payment methods vary by mission and change periodically. Most missions do not accept walk-ins for passport or document services.
