Vice President

The Vice President supports the President in leading NAKA and assumes presidential duties when needed. This role focuses on membership growth, engagement, and program development.

Responsibilities

  • Assume presidential duties in the President's absence
  • Lead membership recruitment and retention efforts
  • Oversee committee activities and volunteer coordination
  • Support the development of new programs and initiatives
  • Assist in strategic planning and goal setting
  • Facilitate communication between committees and the board
  • Help organize and execute community events
  • Represent NAKA at events when the President is unavailable

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in community engagement or membership organizations
  • Ability to motivate and coordinate volunteers
  • Collaborative leadership style

Time Commitment

This role requires approximately 8-12 hours per month, including board meetings, committee work, and event participation.
