At-Large Board Member

At-Large Board Members bring the general membership's voice to the board. NAKA's board includes two At-Large seats, each elected to a two-year term.

Responsibilities

Attend and vote in board meetings
Represent the interests of the general membership
Support NAKA programs, events, and committees
Participate in governance and strategic planning
Serve as a liaison between members and the board

Qualifications

Active NAKA member in good standing
Commitment to NAKA's mission and values
Collaborative approach and sound judgment
Availability to participate consistently in board work

Time Commitment

Expected time commitment: 4-8 hours per month, including board meetings, committee work, and event participation.
