At-Large Board Member
At-Large Board Members bring the general membership's voice to the board. NAKA's board includes two At-Large seats, each elected to a two-year term.
Responsibilities
- Attend and vote in board meetings
- Represent the interests of the general membership
- Support NAKA programs, events, and committees
- Participate in governance and strategic planning
- Serve as a liaison between members and the board
Qualifications
- Active NAKA member in good standing
- Commitment to NAKA's mission and values
- Collaborative approach and sound judgment
- Availability to participate consistently in board work
Time Commitment
Expected time commitment: 4-8 hours per month, including board meetings, committee work, and event participation.
